Cute Teacher Gift

When I met up with the ladies (Mary, LucyG, Debbie) we got a short lesson in these adorable flowers. I just had to try them myself. I made this for Zane's student teacher

Ok, I just tried this out. Here is how:

Cut a strip of double-sided patterned paper 4"x12"
Accordian fold the strip using about a 3/4" fold
Round all 4 edges with your scissors
Fold the folded strip in half
Lay some adhesive on the outer flaps of the fold (this looks like half the flower)
Lay some adhesive on the other side
Now it should look like a flower
Find the middle fold of the flower and glue a BBQ skewer into the fold
Glue a button on each side
