I think I spelled that wrong...but anyway, did any of you hear about the toddler that was accidently given margaritas at a restaurant? His mom ordered him apple juice and after a few sips he kept pushing it away. She was curious so she took the lid off and found that it wasn't apple juice afterall! It seems that they kept the apple juice in the same kind of container as the margaritas and that's how the mistake was made. Well, DUH!!!! How stupid is that? The child got sick...just a little, and the mgrs were very upset. The mom seemed to take it in stride but said even though they promised her free meals, she wouldn't be back.

Tee Hee--I don't even know what that drink tastes like. Sounds to me like an accident waiting to happen. Glad the tot is ok! I suppose there will be a law suit--there is after everything else!!

I don't remember where it happened. I read it on MSN. The child did get sick...he threw up...which was probably a good thing.
I just can't believe that someone was stupid enough to keep the juice and the liquor in the same type of container. Also, when the waiter was pouring it into the cup...couldn't they SEE the difference or SMELL it? What kid in America doesn't know what apple juice looks like.

I saw this on the news. I can't imagine that happening and the mom didn't seem upset. I'm sure she will sue. Hugs, Heather

That's crazy to keep the two drinks in so similar a container!! I'm happy to hear that the child is doing okay.
