You can roll your roller directly onto the ink pad rather than get a cartridge too. I just ordered a handle and roller thing for the first time. I hope that I like it. Kim

I bought some wheels but didn't want to buy everything else to go with it. I took the rubber off the wheels and mounted them to ez mount. Now I just use them like any other unmounted stamp.

If you're only using them to make cards, you can just ink them up on an inkpad and it will be fine for a card size. You really only need to use a cartridge if you're inking up anything larger than that (like a scrapbook page)---I'm only a card maker, and I almost always just use an inkpad. The circumference of the wheel is larger than the size of your card, so it works. Hope that makes sense. Also, once you get a handle, the wheels are all interchangeable, so they're a great value I think.

Yes. Clearsnap makes them for Stampin Up.

clearsnap rollers and wheels are the same as SU...SU just has them manufactured for them with their logo. I use my clearsnap holder with my SU and clearsnap rollers/ink cartridges.

I absolutely love my wheels, they are so easy to use, you need to practise at first to get them going in a straight line, but then they are so easy!

This card (http://rubberrambles.blogspot.com/2006/10/how-dopey-am-i.html) from my blog was made form my husband in a real rush using a jumbo SA wheel.
If you are a newbie I think the jumbo ones are much easier to use than the standard.
