Today's the day. Please say a prayer for me. In an hour I am having a bone graph done in my mouth. Once it heals I have to go back and have the post screwed into my jaw and then a crown added later. (I'm having a permanent implnat done where they had to remove a tooth that cracked and failed) I was really nervous last week, but this week seems to be good so far. Pray that God helps me to remain calm. I'm not being put to sleep, just local anesthesia around the area. Thanks ya'll.

Don't forget to breathe, it will help you relax. Try to close your eyes and imagine yourself in your favorite place. That's what I do in the dental chair. I've actually fallen asleep before doing this!

Thanks everyone. You gals are the greatest. THe procedure went better than I expected. By the time I got home and got my prescriptions filled, I could tell I needed to take them and chill out. I can't take pain meds so it's just 800MG Ibuprofen for me. A couple of hours ago I was in some pretty bad pain, but I rented a movie (The Queen) on PPV to get my mind off of it and by the time it was over I felt much better. I'm eating some pudding right now and I've been sipping on gatoraid all day. I feel okay now. I know it's going to be sore for a few days, but I think I'm past the bad part. (I hope anyway) Again, thanks to all of you. You are sweeties!

Mary, glad to hear the procedure is done and hope you get to feeling better soon. The Queen should help. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Hope you like it.
