She cried all the way home. poor thing!! No laughing gas for her. She now is sleeping and the pain meds have kicked in, thank the lord. She is sleeping in MY bed - could make for a long week!!! I just hope these pain meds help her!!

Wish me luck.

Sherri be sure to wake her to give her the pain meds every 4-6 hours. My dbf had all of his out at once as well and that's what I did. You don't want them to wear off before you give them again.

I had mine out when I was a senior in HS....WAAAAAYYYYY back when~
They had to break a part of the jaw to get one of them out because the root was wrapped around the bone.
Talk about pain. I couldn't wait the 4 hours between pain meds...but my mom had to make me wait....It was awful!
I hope your DD gets over the painful part quickly!
Put an old towel over the pillow as there may be seepage!
HUGS

Poor Emily. I remember how painful that was. Keep on feeding her pain meds with a bit of soft food so the meds don't make her sick. I got sick because I didn't eat anything, and that was awful.

Mine were done at about 15 too....I only remember waking up in another room after.... it was the strangest feeling... how did I get in here (they said I walked on my own). But what else could they have done to me while I was completely out (I thought years later) Right now, I'm happy the orthodontist for the kids says NO to pulling any teeth, at this moment!

Watch your baby!! :0)

((HUGS)) to Emily. And her mom too! Hey, keep some ice on it when she's awake. I really helps with the swelling if you do it right away. Tomorrow she should be able to use warm moist heat....and believe me does it feel gooood. Happy Healing!

I am glad she had it done on a Monday. My son had his done on a Friday and it is harder to get ahold of the dds on the weekend. I hope those pain pills do the trick.

OMG!! How horrible!! How old is she ellie? That is the only reason why I'm taking mine to mexico and doing it slowly. Here in the us they wanted to put my dd asleep entirely and do it all! I thought it was proposterous!! I am skeered of that sleeping thing as well. I hope your dd gets better.

Here's a hug for Emily. I bet that she probably feels a lot better just by sleeping in your bed. Here's hoping she sleeps a lot this evening. (( ))

Poor Emily!
I remember all three of my dd's getting their wisdom teeth removed, and each one reacted differently as to pain experienced and healing etc.
A little TLC from mom is probably just what she needs - along with the pain meds of course.
Sending cyber hugs your way Emily.

Well its 7:15 pm and she has slept most of the day. She wakes up and I give her more pain meds. She was feeling really dizzy and kept saying she was going to faint but then she would fall back asleep. I even fell asleep myself for an hour till the thunder woke me up. Now she is on the couch watching tv and texting back and forth to her boyfriend. lol

Yuck! I remember when Evan had his out - the Monday before Thanksgiving when he was a college freshman. It was worse on me than him though :)

I hope that Emily and mom are doing well today.

Sending you both a big HUG!
