to have my shoulder looked at. I have a lot of pain in my right shoulder...the chiropractor thinks it's bursitis. UGH....The dr. gave me Celebrex and sent me for an x-ray. She is thinking physical therapy. This is my stamping arm...I need to have it in good shape for MOA!

I have tendonitis in my right shoulder. It gives me a fit sometimes. I can tell when I've been on the computer for an extended period of time. PT helped me. They basically gave me a huge rubber band thingy that you tie to a doorknob and then a sheet of paper showing different exercises to do with your arm. I had to do it 4 times a day for 4 weeks. Now I just try and give it a rest when it starts hurting. Know your limitations. I hope it's not something major for you and you feel better soon.

What about a cortizone shot? I have always had luck with them. They hurt just for a minute, then you are pain free. At least that's how it was with me...

Hi Ellie,

I hope the PT and medicine helps. I agree with Sherri, to try a cortizone shot. They do help a lot. Good luck. Hugs, Heather

I expected her to suggest a shot today. Instead I got more pills and an x-ray!

and I have to read this here--I hope all is well by now. Celebrex didn't agree with me--hopefully you'll have better luck.
I'll call you tomorrow to hear more details yfs:wideeyed:

oh boy....I once had bursitis. 2004. I refused the shot (I'm terrified of needles)

Physical therapy, anti-inflammatory meds & Ibuprofen finally did the trick. Pain gone.

I hope the therapy works and you are as good as new before long.
