Now that I've started filling my big card order, I'm kind of nervous about the whole thing. She said she likes lavender, blue, white and purple and snowflakes, angels, reindeer and sparkles. I don't have a lot of any of those kinds of images. I've got lots of snowmen and santas....lol And, you know I'm crazy for green! I'm going to do my best with this and hope she likes them. Here are the first two card designs.

You do wonderful work, Mary, and are an inspiration to all of us. I 'borrow' lots of your ideas. That's my confession for today.

Thanks so much, ladies. I really appreciate your support when I feel insecure. I guess we all do it to ourselves sometimes. It is so easy to encourage others but so hard to encourage oneself. I am probably overthinking the designs, and I need to stop. This gal really does like my stuff, and she always buys lots from me when I take my cards to work.

Fantastic cards Mary as always.

Joanne, you are so sweet. Of couse I remember your order, it was my first ever. And, I will always remember the coffee card design too. Getting an order today is just as thrilling as it was then!

These are really great! I would have not ever thought of the color combos for Christmas. However, you make them fit so well!

I love both of these designs! Are you making all different designs, or choosing a few basic styles and then making several of each of those?

I'm thinking maybe 5 designs and 8 cards each. That might change, but she said she was fine with multiples.

But remember to KISS -- Keep it Simple, Stupid! ;)

Pick a FEW designs -- maybe 2 or 3. You said 5 -- that sounds like too many!

Set yourself up in assembly line mode -- stamp your images all at once (at least for each version), etc, etc. An order for 40 cards is terrific, but if you wear yourself out, you won't enjoy it and you won't want to do it again! Plus -- your time has value -- if you are making cards to sell, you have to keep that in mind.

Good luck -- and like some of the others who commented, I think I'll be "borrowing" one of your ideas!
