Well, I thought it looked like the dog that used to sleep at the front door of The Beverly Hillbillys! That's old......

I remember those shows (re-runs of course). ;) He looks like a 'Duke. He'd be a good outside farm type dog. You should go back and get him too.

All I can think if is the Fox and the Hound. When he says "I'm a hound dog awoo woo woo". I think you made the right choice.

You guys are so funny! I hate to admit it, but I remember Hee Haw...and not the re-run version either. I also loved the Beverly Hillbillies.
He was a cute dog but he would probably be bringing you all kinds of "treats" from the farm...he is a hound right?

Sherri--and others--I was telling my DH about your new dog, and also the dog that your DH wanted to get.

I told him that someone thought he looked like the dog from "Hee Haw" and John said, "Oh you mean Beauregard The Wonder Dog?!"

I thought this was hysterical that he remembered the name of that dog--but he's great with "useless facts" like that! He's great to partner with in Trivial Pursuit!

Yes, I remember Hee Haw and yes it looks like that dog!!! Doesn't appear to be very active...

or is it that I'm used to my hyeractive Rowdy who never sits and is always in some kind of trouble!!!

Looks like a duke to me too or maybe a SallyAnn.
Needs a southern name

I like him!

I think that's the dog Ladybird on King of the Hill too.

My BF has a bloodhound. His name is Winston. He is super cute, but a HUGE handful. She spends a lot of time wiping drool off the walls!

OK--now that grosses me out more than Barb's kleenex card! LOL!
