I've got a question about this card http://stamp-shack.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=8981&limit=recent that I just saw in the gallery. I've got a few Outlines stamps, and I'm not sure how you get a little color coming through each layer. It looks like the layer below is embossed, but mostly it is just color coming through. How do you do that? For example, the second layer from the top appears to be silver embossed on red. So did you just emboss only a certain part of the stamp or what?

Mary - I've worked with quite a few Outlines stamps but wasn't at Stampfest. I do believe they stamped the images several times on red and pink paper, embossing each one and then cut the images out(only using parts of the complete image at times) and layered them with pop dots to get the look they did.

Mary, this card looks like it was embossed in silver on colored stock. This card is easier to make than it looks if you have a good pair of scissors!

Yup, we just picked the colours of cardstock we wanted and embossed the image 2 or 3 times on the cardstock. Each layer has one "row" of the image removed when it was cut out. By off-setting the petals on some layers, like the example you gave, you see so much more of the cardstock colour peeking out.

With this particular stamp, there are lovely solid aread where there's no pattern as well. That results in some colour remaining. I'll post a scan of the stamp for you so you can see what I mean.
