wishes for healing. On Sunday, she cut/stabbed her hand with a knife. The injury is on the outer side of her right hand near the pinky finger. Well two days ago she noticed that her pinky was numb and paralyzed. Went to the hospital received an anitbiotic shot. (Infection in/around the tendon). Went to a specialist today and it is much, much worse! Paralysis is moving up her arm to her elbow. They are going to hospitalize her for a day or two and administer IV antibiotics.

Who would have known that a little cut on the hand could reek such havoc?

Anyways, she could use some prayers to God almighty to intervene and help the medical staff and medicine do it's job.

She's really bummed about having to be "strapped" down to a hospital bed.

Some uplifting prayers would be nice to. She's the matriarch of the family and it seems that when she's down, everyone else is too!

Thanks so much for reading and prayers!

Was she cutting some meat? Maybe a bacteria from that set in. I sure hope it heals soon.

Umm, not sure what she was cutting. Maybe a tomato? You know how tricky those things can be and she has always been ol' school when it comes to slicing and dicing veggies. She always uses her hands and not a cutting board. My father always warns her that some day she's gonna get cut. Well she did! Ouch!
Thanks for the prayers, I feel better knowing that she is being well "prayed" for. lol,
Debbie

Your poor mom. Nobody wants to be strapped to the hospital...yuck. I hope they get her fixed up and she's back home slicing tomatos in no time.

Update on my Mom, They admitted her to the hospital, but instead of just doing IV antibiotics. He did surgery on her hand. He said, the IV was not enough because the infection was in the tendon of her pinky hand and spreading up to her elbow. Thus the paralysis. He surgically removed as much infection as possible and inserted a drainage tube. She may have to have it surgically cleaned out again in a few days.
Thank you ladies for the prayers, Keep'em going! It is such a comfort to know that prayers are going coast to coast.

Bless her heart. I'm thinking of you and of her tonight. I hope you rest, too. Infections can get bad so fast. I hope they get it all out quickly.
