My friend Judy is losing her battle with Leukemia

Judy has been my Creative Memories consultant for almost 8 years. Three and a 1/2 years ago she and her husband adopted a baby girl from CA because they couldn't have children of their own. She was diagnosed one year later with leukemia. It has been a very tough time for her. She hired an assistant to keep her CM business going, but I got word today that as of last Friday the UVA doctors told her there is nothing else they can do for her and she has at the most a week to live. Please pray for a miracle.

I received an email today from Judy's assistant Kay. I'm so sad. (Sherri I know how you feel.) Here is what she wrote about Judy's visit with her little girl Jacklynn:

Dear Friends:

Judy said goodbye to Jacklyn on Saturday. She told her that "Mommy wouldn't
see her anymore. Mommy was going to heaven." After most of the tears
subsided, she and Jacklyn shared a piece of Black Tie Mousse from Olive
Garden (Judy and Jacklyn's favorite dessert. A nurse from UVA had driven to
Richmond to get a piece for her.)

Judy is not in any pain. Now that the doctors don't have to worry about
addiction or the long term effects of the medicine on her organs, she is
getting as much pain medication as she needs.

I am soo sorry to hear this, it makes me so sad especially for the mother of young children. It is hard not matter what age or no children but when they are young they just don't understand. :( It makes me so sad to think if it was me and I was leaving my boys behind. THIS DISEASE just STINKS real bad and I am going to keep her and her family in my prayers and pray for a miracle. MIRACLES HAPPEN EVERY DAY!!! I am also going to continue to pray for GOD to find a CURE for this horrific disease that is taking the lives of too many of our loved ones. huggs and prayers to you and her :)
