OMG......For some odd reason I let my 13 year old daughter talk me into letting her stay home today to do a science project that is due tomorrow, and she has not started. I had gone to my back closet to get some Pampered Chef items to get ready for a party coming up and I saw a MOUSE run across the shelf. I FREAKED out!!! I completely froze! (I flip out over ants etc.) I yelled. "Oh my God! Call dad......call dad......." Erica grabbed the phone and he came right home. It took a good 45 minutes to catch it. Even Jim hollored when it ran at him, I have never seen him "scared" before.
So, I am sitting here on a morning that is 58 degrees and sweating!!!
I knew that had been in the basement, but in our "living" area...AAAGGHhhhh!!!

I think that is funny- my dad was more scared of mice than my mum. He wouldn't even pick up a dead one from a trap. He would pick the whole trap up (mouse inside) with a pair of tongs, and toss the lot.
I'm not scared of mice, but my sis is like you- couldn't stay in a house if she knew a mouse was in it. I bet you're glad you had your daughter to protect you!
I have a mouse in my house too! Darn thing. I have yet to catch it.

If Erica had not been here to "Protect", I am not sure if I could have moved to get the phone. And if Jim had not come home to get it, I couldn't be in the house!!! NO WAY!!!

OMG Michelle you are so funny. Oh I can fix that! I still have 5 little kittens! :+)
I just went outside and my black cat had caught a mouse to feed her baby. My dog was barking so I went
out to see what was up and I could see in the weeds the kitten had some little feet and a tail sticking out
of her mouth. ;+) Yummy huh?

We had one living in our bag of cans in the garage. We stuck the bag outside and the next day i saw a poor flat mouse in the street. I guess he was said that he coudln't live in our garage anymore and just coudln't go on! LOL!

Must be the season! I had one right by my seat where my computer is. I screamed, he left. Still got to catch him, too!

I've passed out and needed to be revived reading this post. It happened to me about 3 years ago and I called DH home from work. By the time he arrived, I was curled up in the fetal position screaming at the top of my lungs. He took me to the doctor and I have a prescription from something that reduces short term memory should I ever be in the same house with another mouse. Pluse, DH had to take 2 days off work. There is a true phobia known as Musaphobia. Here is a website:

While it sounds funny, it really isn't. We now have a cat, albeit an indoor cat, but if one got in, at least he'd have it cornered so DH could catch it.
