Is there another way to un-mount your stamps other than in the microwave? I am seriously thinking of un-mounting mine to conserved space. Do you think it's worth it?

if you need the space I say unmount them. I have heard that in the micro is the easiest way. I'm not sure of any of the other ways.

I voted NO- because I wish all my unmounted stamps were mounted- I use my unmounted a lot, but I like the feel of the woodblock when I stamp- i guess I'm funny like that!

I said yes. You would not belive all the room you save. I've done almost half of mine and am waiting on a wet rainy day to do the rest.(that could be forever, since we aren't getting any rain down here.)

Ellie 90% of all I have done can be pulled directly off the block. The microwave adds a little encouragement for the tough ones.

another unmounting question... when you unmount are you putting them in the cd cases or do you have another form of storage?

When I unmount them, I am thinking of the cd cases. The only thing is that they don't seem to hold too many.

I'm on the fence. I don't think I'll unmount any of mine, but I do have a growing collection of unmounted. It's a huge space issue.

Ellie, Mary (toao) Has a GREAT tutorial up on her blog how to go UM your stamps. I followed her directions and UM ALL my SU sets and have not regretted it since.
