I can't locate the one I was hoping to find.
I haven't made it in so long, can't remember what book it might be in.
I'll keep thinking about where it might be. Hopefully, if I can't come up with it, someone else can!

Go to the grocery store. Find the frozen pie section. Pick a Mrs. Smith's Apple Pie. Easy and simple :).

This is one of the best sites on the net, I use it almost daily for dinner, and dessert ideas. Hope your pie is as sweet as your are! ~MJ

well i have a really good apple pie recipe but it's not that kind of crust. IT's just the regular kind of crust made from scratch. If you want it let me know.

What do you mean "a store bought" apple pie isn't good enough for Thanksgiving???? What the heck? Someone never told me this so I am buying Mrs. Smiths. LOL

I think you are talking about an Apple crumble- not real apple pie. It has brown sugar and flour and maybe rolled oats all mixed together and crumbled ontop of the pie- Yum. My favourite and of course you must serve it with vanilla custard, not cream. I hope your pie was yummy

We call the kind with the crumbly topping a "Dutch Apple Pie" here.

I am wondering how your pie turned out, Angie!!!

i think it's dutch apple pie i was shooting for. it turned out pretty good. i put too much butter in the crumbly stuff on top, so it just sort of melted into the top, but it was still tasty!!! it was a little runny. i'll have to see if it firmed up over night. i think for my first attempt, it was great! and i don't even like apple pie!!

yummm...maybe i'll go have a piece now!!
