The principal of the elementary school who I used to volunteer with is retiring Dec 6th. She is in Florida so I don't see her often but I did go see her when I was there last. I have not made a retirement card.

Any ideas?

I have made a few, and differently too.
you can go with congrats on your retirement
or
you can go with
thanks for all you've done, we appreciate it
those are 2 ideas what does your heart say?

One of favorite sentiments for retirement is to "Take Time to Enjoy the Special Moments in Life" or "Joy is where you find it" or "It is the days we remember it is the moments".
I think all of these are probably hero arts
Retirement cards are a little more challenging.

This past spring several of my teacher friends retired.
I made this card.

Sherri -- here's one I made -- I can stamp that mouse for you tonite and send it to you if you want. I printed the sentiment on the computer.
