She took all of past year's artwork and created a calender journal. She must've scanned them and worked with a desktop publishing program (like Photoshop or Publisher). Then, I'm guessing that she saved each page, just the way she wanted them to look in her journal, and sent them off to a printing place.

I'm thinking I'm going to do this, also. It's a little late to design this for 2008, but I'm thinking this is the kind of stuff that my mom would like as a gift for 2009. (I'll make one for her and one for me).

It's even easier what she did.
We have a shop called HEMA you can buy there clothes,make-up,candy,bread,pies,photo's,bicycle and car stuff,hobbysuplies and even paint etc.
So you get an idea what kind of shop it is.There you can make online an photoagenda and you insert photo's what you want to have inside the agenda.
Think you called it an organizer??
And the shop do the rest.
Later when you get it back you can work on it some more.

yes indeed she did.:)
Not even i reconize the agenda and remember that HEMA did that.
But she even wrote it on her blog haha.
Maybe you will have that also in a kind of shop??
