It's only taken about a week and a half, but I finally finished these the other day...lol
Kinda of plain...do you think they need more? I'm not very good at the random placement thing, so I'm kinda scared to do more...lol
I used Stickles and glitter/glue on them.
I put a snowman placemat down and then put that fake flakey snow down and put them in it.
The ribbon on the largest one is a sheer gold. Its very flowy and sparkly. The middle one is a stiffer red ribbon from Martha Stewart. It has a weird feeling to it, not quite plastic, not quite fabric. Not sure if I like it. And the little tree's ribbon is from a roll I bought at Michaels. I thought it was satin ribbon when I bought it, but its actually velvet with wire. Really cool! And soooo pretty!
What do you think?

Thank you :)
Terry, they are SO SIMPLE to do, just time consuming!
I bought 3 different sizes of styrofoam cones (at Michaels). The 3 cones used 8 sheets of 12x12 paper.
You cut the paper into 1" x 6" strips. If you have pp that has writing or and image that needs to be right side up, make sure you cut in the right direction.
Fold each strip in half (so it makes about a 3" piece). I used Tombow to secure the cut ends closed, then I used 2 straight pins (dip the ends in glue, I used UHU clear liquid glue). Start from the bottom and place each looped paper piece, overlapping slightly in a row around the cone. Secure each piece by placing the pin in each corner of the cut end of the strip. Does that make sense?
Once you go around once, move up a row and place the next row overlapping and off center from the bottom row. Just work your way up.
When I got to the top I just cut a narrow strip of paper, used Tombow on the whole piece, and then ran it horizontally around the top of the cone to cover the edges. I added a bow on top and then added my cookie cutter ornaments.
Then I used glue/glitter or diamond Stickles to make the snowy drifts on the "branches".
You can also add buttons, bows, rhinestones, etc.
Most of the ones Ive seen done have used stars on top, but I wanted ribbons.

These are just too cute. My problem, I would not have a place to sit them, or a place to store. This house is too full. Glinda

I normally have a big plant sitting in their spot, so I just moved that to on top of the microwave and have them sitting in its spot. Storing them, yeah that's gonna be a problem for me. I bought an ornament holder the other day at J's so there might be room in that to keep them from getting squished. If that doesn't work, I know of two people who fell in love with them, I'll sell them to them and let them deal with it! lol
