I just added 5 cards to the gallery.
card 1 of 5 (http://stamp-shack.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12571&ppuser=37)
card 2 of 5 (http://stamp-shack.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12572&ppuser=37)
card 3 of 5 (http://stamp-shack.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12573&ppuser=37)
card 4 of 5 (http://stamp-shack.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12574&ppuser=37)
card 5 of 5 (http://stamp-shack.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12575&ppuser=37)

I am getting ready for a stamp-a-stack gathering and would like some honest feedback:
Do they look like they need something more or do they feel complete as is?
Do they "go together" for one activity?

The plan is to have each person make 4 of each of the 5 cards. Right now I know of 3 definate folks, 2 likely, and 1 maybe. I have a bit of prep to do yet, but I'm trying to stay ahead of the nervous panic.

I gave you my honest opinion, but I feel kind of bad doing it because I always think, "who am I to tell someone else what is the right thing to do?" But you asked, so
I left comments on each one except the lizzard. I'm not crazy about the lizzard, and I don't think it goes with the others very well. I couldn't think of any suggestions for it, sorry.

Mary,
I appreciate you taking the time (& sticking your neck out) to help me get these cards just right.

I love the warm colors you chose, Margo. I really want to add some ribbon in somewhere as a little embellishment on the first two. If you want them to all go together you could change the pp on the lizard and the last one. I like that you did a variety of folds and techniques.

I think they just need a touch of ribbon, or gold brads or buttons maybe.

Ok Margo. I left comments on each card. I love that you used different techniques and products on all the cards. I'm sure your class will be fun.

keep those cards & letters coming!:jiggy:
I'm loving all your ideas.
(the card with the tulip & glaze pens) The Amelia collection has "matching" brads/eyelets, so I'm going to work on incorporating them.

(rainbow tulips ) I agree it needs something to anchor that strip.

Part of my problem, is that the gal who is "hosting" asked for general purpose cards - that is why there are no birthday or other sentiments. I plan to bring a set or two of words/says/sentiments and let them add-on as the mood strikes them. They are all exceptionally experienced & quick stampers, so I won't be surprised if there are many variations by the end of the afternoon :D

I was looking through the TAC book and there is a card that I want to case on p37. They show it with sprigs & circle sampler, but I think it will look just as good with deco design & circle sampler. It would fit the flower "theme"

Although, if my scor-pal arrives in time, I might be using that instead of these

Here is the new version of the starburst tulip card (http://stamp-shack.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12620&ppuser=37)

I changed the strip on the bottom and added crystals.
