Play date anyone?

Some friends of mine and I are getting together on March 1st (saturday) to get together and create. We're renting a place for the weekend so we can spend the whole day creating, sharing ideas and food! Can't have a party without food. If anyone here can make it or wants more info, let me know. Would love to meet my fellow shackies face to face.

Kim, you're about 155 miles from here. If your plans fall through, we'll be here. a couple of my friends are staying the night there (even though it's only a few miles from home!). We check out on Sunday morning. Get to craft all night long, or as long as the coffee will hold my eyelids open!

Oh wow, Jan, sorry to hear that. I had a bad transmission in my old van and it was not pretty on my budget either.

Ive also go crafty plans that day though. My friend's sister (who has also become a friend) is getting married in Sept and we are going to make her wedding invitations that day. They are soooo pretty! Shiny brown cardstock with a cream colored insert. Using a spiral clip with pretty orange ribbon tied to it to hold on the RSVP card.

We'll be taking some, I'm sure. Will try not to take too many at midnite when we'll probably be running on coffee! At the moment, it's just a few local friends, but figured if any of the shackies could make it, it would be awesome.

Summer may be hard to plan with family vacations and such, what about in early June or late may before school gets out?! How far is Concord from VA Beach?! I bet its not that far....

Maybe there is something else 1/2 way that we could all get together at. I just suggested summer because I thought if we were at the beach, the kids would want to come too. The time is flexible for me.
