I dont know what is going on with me. Maybe it is the weather, but I felt out of it yesterday and today after I spilled soda on my keyboard and desk at work I was in a bad mood..but I think I was in a crappy mood before then I just told the girls at work the soda is the reason lol...I just feel so blah lately. I am tired a lot (which I know is from staying up later than I should and getting up early in the AM) and I just dont have any energy. Just wondering what you do to relax? I would love to take a bath but unable to do that...
Maybe I just need a V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry you are having such a tough time. Sounds like you do need a vacation. Relaxing for me is curling up with a book and a diet pepsi and reading cover to cover with no interruptions. Doesn't happen often but it does relax me!

I love to float in the pool on my back. That is the most relaxing thing I can do. There can be no-one else in the pool, just me and I will lie there for ages just zoning out.

oh I just realized that you might have to float on ice at this time of year, so I will tell you what i do in winter- I take a bath, and everyone is banned from talking to me, or shouting thru the door (why do kids have to do that when they have a perfectly good father who is NOT in the bath to help them???). I don't do this very often so my family know I am stressed if I do.

I get out of my house. For me, I like to go kayaking but walking on the beach or somewhere else "naturey" helps. Exercise and fresh air are amazing stress relievers.

I like to go for a walk when I'm stressed. Being outside is nice and relaxing.

Being outside in any kind of weather does feel really good! I relax by scrapbooking or making cards. Using my creative brain relaxes me.

Try a nice hot bath early in the evening, and get into bed no later than 10pm. Your body probably needs a good night's sleep. If you still feel sluggish, schedule a physical and have them do some blood work including a vitamin screen. You may have a deficiency.

We live around a golf course and their are ponds and I find it relaxing to go feed the ducks. We have lots of them. It brings great childhood memories and no stress involved. Hugs, Heather

Getting outside with some fresh air and sunshine if possible always helps me. It seems like I get winter blues if I don't see a little fresh air and sunshine. Some days I seriously just need a nap, not often, but it works wonders when I need it.

How 'bout a massage? Dh goes once a month and it really helps him.
Darlene, hugs to you! When I have a bad day at work, and lately, it has been almost daily, I was taught by a person for whom I have great respect for - I keep a little bottle of bubbles at my desk for when I really need a breather - it actually really works and lifts all the foulness from me.
I actually went and bought a bunch of bottles and gave one to each of the girls in the office and they all love it!
I hope you feel better.

Being the pisces girl that I am, I love looking at the ocean. I can go and sit there for hours. When I was in college and needed to really study for an exam, that is where I would go to. I got my degree with the highest honors!

I wanted to thank each and everyone of you that responded to my question. You all gave me a lot of ideas and suggestions and I really appreciate it. A lot of those ideas sound really good. I am loving the massage and definitely the hot bubble bath. Maybe I can squeeze in a hot bath sometime on one of my days off..hmmm...
thank you again!

I am blaming the weather!! I have been in a poopy mood all week.
I keep saying I'm going to go check into a hotel room for the weekend. Just me, no mom, no DH, no dogs.
Just me a bubble bath and a good book.
