My mom just called (she and my step-father are in FL for the winter). They rushed my step father to the hospital at 3AM. I guess he has gall stones and something is up with his pancreas. Mom sounded so tired and was slurring her words big time - which is something she hasn't done since they've been in FL. They are keeping Papa for a few days for more tests. I know they are nervous about what they may find. He's a diabetic,a little over weight and a heavy smoker. Part of me wants to hop on a plane today and head down there but I know that if need be one his daughter's will be on a plane today so I'll try to hold off making any quick decisions. Katie's grandmother passed away yesterday & we have her wake tonight. I really want to be here for Katie also. If you're sending up prayers at all today could you send one for me too :)
