but what about this fall? Is there anywhere on the East Coast we can plan something in the fall?!?!???!?!

Any thoughts? October would be beautiful in the fall and not too cold yet :).

OK .... we were all saying this morning that we don't think we can wait until next May to see everyone again .... we do need to find someplace for a Fall Shackapalooza!

(In a small voice...) Are people still thinking about coming to MOA in Minnesota in September for the Archiver's Scrap Fest? If people are tired of MOA itself, we could see some of the lovely sites around town.

Our west coasters need a more central location, I would love to attend one of the get togethers someday..hopefully.

Yes I've heard of a lot of great scrapping/stamping lodges in eastern Tennessee. Sherri, would you be interested in helping me find a good place? I've also thought a little more centralized so the west coast can attend . . . maybe like Chicago, St. Louis, or eastern Nebraska. I wouldn't suggest Memphis because although I could think of a lot of places to stay and stamp, there are absolutely no stamping/scrapping stores here and nothing to see or do.

I might be able to do something in October. We'll be closer to everything by then and, I'll have someone to look in on John should he be needing anything. Chicago's only a 1-hour flight from Toronto, Detroit is driveable. Let me think! Oww, that hurts!

Lidia, I loved attending MOA, but I'll be moved to Toronto area by then, and we'll still be getting settled. I'm afraid MOA is not for me this year.

How about the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia?

We don't need much to do, stamping, eating and coffee should be enough if we could find some store. In Pigeon Forge there is that big Scrapbook Outlet that has lots of stamps, paper etc...
I have also seen Scappin Weekends in South Carolina- Rubber Stamps and More by Eleanor might be good place to start- she has a big room in her store. It is near Greenville SC

Nashville is also a big scrapping/stamping area and they have a ton of stores there. Also a HUGE mall (about the size of 3 football fields) but it's not very centralized.

In August in Cincinnati there is the Stamp Away Weekend- Stamp out your Art I believe it is. There is a link on Marco's Paper. I have signed up for the Friday shopping preview. That is roughly 5 hours from where I live.

Thanks for that link Joanne-- it reminded me that there's one of those Rubber Stamp Expo's right here (Mpls./St. Paul Minnesota) in a couple weeks! I've never gone before, but it always looks and sounds neat! There's another one in October too!
