my husband's coworker, Terence Fisher, succumbed to cancer last night.
I shared this with you ladies last month. He went into the hospital complaining of a bad headache. He thought he just needed new glasses. They ran tests, including a CT scan, and found a large tumor wrapped around his ear and behind one eye.
They ran PET scans on him, and found the cancer had spread to his liver, kidneys, bones and pancreas. He chose to get radiation treatment to slow down the cancer and buy him some more time to say goodbye. He knew there wasn't anything else which could be done for him except some time to say goodbye. From the time he was diagnosed five weeks ago, he was given two months, at most.
He came into DH's work two weeks ago to say goodbye, personally, to everyone he knew. There wasn't a dry eye in the office.
Please pray for comfort and strength for his family as they go through this painful time. Thanks so much.
