I'm looking for a new technique to try. Are they simple to use? any helpful hints? Is there a particular manufacturer that you would recommend? are there any websites for tutorials?

That's the brand I use and I like them.

I know there are tutorials but I can't find a great one right now! Who posted that video one a while back?

Hi Shelley,
Here is a link that really helps to understand Alcohol inks.

I also use ranger inks. One helpful hint is to buy the little stamp applicator. It helps lots and keeps your fingers clean. It will stain your fingers and your clothes so be careful. They are fun to play with, I'm just learning myself so I'm sorry I can't give you more tips.

Christie, thanks for the link! I hadn't seen that video before, and it was really helpful. My first few attempts with the AI was terrible, and after watching the video, I think I was using too much blending solution.

companies. I think the Lumiere brand is manufactured by Posh Impressions.

Good question. I was wondering the same thing myself. I have alcohol inks, but have never used them.
