The kids got their report cards in the mail today

In the elementary schools, you get them the last day of school but in middle and high schools, they mail them.

Both got A's and B's so we are very proud of both!!

Emily got her high school schedule for 11th grade and it is:

FIRST SEMESTER
Physical Science
Spanish 1
English 3
Ceramics 1

SECOND SEMESTER
Algebra 2
Sociology
Spanish 2
US History

So that doesn't look too "painful" does it??

A's and B's... That's great!

The schedule doesn't look too bad although I'm glad I don't have to take Algebra 2. I don't really use the part of my brain that works out complicated math equations. I agree, the ceramics class looks like loads of fun.

Congrats on the grades. I think my ds would love to have a schedule like Em's. His for next year: Chemistry, Geometry, Spanish, American Govt and Politics, CM Eng, PE, and some computer Tech class. Good news is that dad can help him with homework this time as I either don't know much about these subjects and/or they bore me greatly. Yes, Govt and Politics does not interest me at all. (I know it should, but whenever I listen to the current political junk I feel like I'm listening to my children argue over stupid stuff.)

I know they have 4 classes a quarter but they are 1 1/2 hours long.

I'd say the kids did a GREAT JOB! My girls get there's (in their backpack) on the last day of school. They give them to me when they get off the bus.

Great job to both of them. I hated Algebra and Science - YUCK! I'm glad those days are over for me!
