Today's cupcakes

It's been a while sense I've done a "Today's cupcakes" so here we go

super dark chocolate ginger

sweet buttercream frosting.

the super dark line I do is not very sweet at all. the cakes are almost black, SUPER dark. ginger is new to me, but I've heard it works. The batter tasted fine, not much ginger taste at all.

I might die the frosting light green like wasabi so people expect a bit of an odd taste to the whole thing.

They are good. I did do the green.

I was thinking they were very asian tasting but Brian pointed out that they are sorta like chocolate ginger cookie tasting. Now they taste like fall to me, not what I had in mind.

I'm trying to do some really unique things. I really though ginger was unique! HA!
