One of my other hobbies is loom knitting with my Knifty Knitter. I purchased my Knifty Knitter about 2 years ago because I wanted to play with yarn, but I am hopeless at traditional knitting. I was searching for some quick and easy projects recently and came across this (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic155398.0). My 7 year old son requested that I make him one so here is "Greenie" (appropriately named by my son). LOL

That is very cute. I love to knit but I've never tried the knifty knitter before. I've never even heard of it.

It was pretty easy. The instructions are in the link (further down in the thread). It was just like making a hat and then you just had to do the legs one at a time. If you ever have any questions on the Knifty Knitter, just let me know. I have tons of links and patterns. :)

I can make you a pink octupus. You don't need to make me a doll. But if you stamped me a bunch of Eat Cake images (on watercolor paper if you have it)...I would be thrilled! :D

The more I am searching for Knifty Knitter patterns, the more I am finding out about Amigurumi which originated in Japan. It is basically knitting or crocheting stuffed toys. OMG, you have got to see the absolute cuteness in these things!!

I am going to try adapt some of these to the Knifty Knitter and see what I can come up with. :)

I LOVE Amigurumi, but I can't knit anymore, my hands won't take it. Will this knifty Knitter thing allow me to do it? I'm gonna look into it.
I will send you anything you want for a pink ocotpus.

The Knifty Knitter is supposed to be much easier on the hands (according to what I have heard). A lot of people that have arthritis use it.
Here is a link where you can learn more about it: http://www.provocraft.com/products/index.products.php?cl=knifty%20knitter
I have both loom sets as well as the flower loom.

Oh, that's adorable! Greenie is the perfect name. My son used to carry around this little stuffed mouse (I think it was really a cat toy) and he named it Mousie.
