Hey Ladies,

Paul is just a drawing machine! He's done another image based on one of the comments he received from a fellow Shackie. This image is amazing! I absolutely adore it and it is now my favorite. Look at the tuft of snow at the bottom of the snowgal...looks like a fur cuff! Genious! Oh please, pretty please pick this one :D

This one is an updated version of his previous sketch. Oh my goodness, I want BOTH of these!
Paul would like your opinions, ladies. He's very open to suggestions. Do you like these negative type images or would you prefer images that you can color?

This one is very cute too. Would someone tell me how they would color it (if at all)? Just so I can get an idea. I need to see samples. ;)

If it were me, I wouldn't color this one at all...just stamp and you're done. Perhaps some diamond colored stickles added to the snow for a glittery/moonlight effect.

Thanks, Sherry. That's kinda what I was thinking. Paul is pretty good at this drawing thing. lol

I think this would be awesome in a midnight blue or navy blue color!

I think I like this better than the other moonlight one...

If i colored it at all, I would color his nose, her hat, and maybe shade the moon with a yellow/orange or a blue. this is a fun image

This image is THE one in book.

Negative type images in black and white are so popular right now, but Paul has designed this in such a way that you could colour parts of it too, to ring the changes of design.
An excellent design that is a real ACE

This is so lovely. I agree with JP it's the one for me, too. The first words that came to mind for me are shall we dance. I wouldn't color it much if at all, just a few highlights and maybe some stickles or sparkly pen.

I have applied some color to the image so that you can get an idea of what it might look like stamped in blue and red inks.

Yes, if you just announced this is the Shack stamp for 2008- I'd be thrilled! Somehow paul has managed to make this cute, arty, and appealing all wrapped up together. I could see this stamped on acetate with a fine glitter glued behind for shimmer. How big is it Sherry? I was talking about the snow couple, but now you showed up mr snowflake, I think it applies equally to him. Go Paul!

We can make it as big or as small as you like. Paul is extremely flexible.

I really like the new star one, really tough to call. It would be very easy to make a stunning card with minimal work with the negative, but it is nice to be able to color it.

Wow, Paul you are making this a super tough decision!

I personally don't love coloring, so I'm loving these images. I do think they would work for coloring as well. Either of these are really wonderful.

I want both of these. I can see them both in midnight blue and some silver or diamond glitter or stickles.

I personally like to color, so I don't care for the negative images. But I do agree they are great sketches! I like the second one better where the snowman is holding the snowflake, only because I can see myself getting more use out of it for Holiday/winter type cards. Don't get me wrong, I do like the first image as well, but I see it as more of a winter romance theme rather than holiday like. Does this make sense?

I have to pick the snowman holding the snowflake, I am also a colorer (is that a word) so I don't usually get negative images either, but I think he could be cute embossed in a color. I can't wait to see what size they will be. He does great work!

Both are great- can we get both of them?
I still love the one with snowflake on his fingertip- it is like a father seeing a newborn for the first time (ok-I know that is a stretch -but I love that snowman)

The Wonder of a Snowflake is my favorite...I relate and love to look at the individual flakes too. I can see making lots of fun backgrounds for him! Are you thinking like a 2.5x3.5 -ATC like size?? I wish I had a woodcut like styled sentiment to go with him...does any one have any font suggestions?
