Take a wild guess......

What do you think I used to color this with? You'll never guess.......

And....if you *do* guess, I'll say you're one smart cookie, because never in a million years did I imagine of using this to color in stamped images.

Did you do it with watercolour pencils and a dove blender Ethel.

Whatever it was, it looks brilliant and so au natural.

Could it be kool aid or pixie stix?

No............ I colored it with things that just about every crafter AND non-crafter has in their home.

I was going to say crayons, but I figured you had used something to blend it with.

I think chalk? or acrylic paints

There is a trick to this. You need to lay the crayon on pretty thick. Then, touch your q-tip lightly to the goo-gone. Then go over the waxy crayon to blend it. It blend like butter. The goo-gone will pick up some of the crayon, so that's why I suggest laying it down thick. If you picked up too much crayon, you can go back over the spot and add more and blend more.

I also advise coloring in one direction or coloring evenlly. In the second sample I put in the gallery, I colored it in hap-hazardly, and I personally don't like the way it came out. You don't have to go all the way to the edge of your image either. The wax spreads so quickly, you can get a lot of coverage even if you don't color all the way to the edge.

Have fun!

Oh no.....I didn't come up with this. I read about it on Splicoaststampers. It is intriguing, isn't it? I had to raid my son's crayon box from third grade, and pulled out my Goo-Gone. I want to try it with baby oil, next.
