With the possible Hurricane Fay bearing down on us...our schools are closed for at least the next two days. My son is ecstatic! If winds get up to 40 mph, school buses are not allowed to transport kids. My city is still up and running, we did not board up the windows but they can be done within 5 hours. Will keep you posted....

It's kind of like a "false start," isn't it? :)

I'd be glad that school was closed too. But not because of a hurricane, I guess. Please stay safe.

My nephew's school in Nokomis is closed also. I was online trying to pay our water bill today and they took the website down as Sarasota County closed their offices at noon today, until at least Wednesday. I wish I was a teacher too!

We are getting a tremendous amount of rain. The wind isn't too bad 50-60 mph. I am heading home in a bit, but i hear we have a leak in the living room, ugh. It looks like school will be closed for tomorrow (Thursday) also. Keep your fingers crossed, it is sitting almost on top of us.
