Guess who I found in the dog house AGAIN? Look at it's feet do they look deformed? And don't ask me what that stuff is by its parts? :embarrassed: It might be it's pouch...if it's a mama. YUK!!!

eeew, possum stew??? I thought that was just something they say as a joke on The Simpsons, or Beverly Hillbillies.

I did Google and find some possum stew recipes. I guess it is no worse than Kangaroo tail stew that the Aboriginal people of Australia like.

I think it's darn nice of you to provide it/her/whatever with such a cushy place to nap!!!

Eeeewwww! Possums are the creepiest looking things. My dog cornered one in the yard a couple of years ago. They hiss pretty loudly too!

It came out of the doghouse a little bit ago & it looked like it was drunk. It was stumbling everywhere. Thank goodness Hazel is sleeping on the couch, or she would be going CRAZY!

that's just plain nasty icky poo -- you might want to consider relocating your dog house or setting a trap.

It looks like it may have nursing baby on it or I should say in the pouch? They have fingers and toes.

If it is staggering and out in the day time, you should call animal contol. These are night time animals and it may be sick or rabid.

Please be very careful for yourself, children and your pets. They are fierce fighters and can shred with their teeth and claws!

If I set a trap all I will get is cats! I have a dog house on the front porch and one on the back porch. My crippled kitty cat has been sleeping in them. He was in the back until he couldnt climb the stairs and no he is on the front porch. And the opossum is in the back doghouse! :err:

how about putting a short chicken wire fence around the back one??? or

do you really need the backyard dog house? or

set a trap that doesn't injure what is caught.

There is nothing cute about a possum. Seriously that thing is obscene.

Looks like an oppossum to me. They have the nastiest looking mouth also. They will keep coming back, get a trap to catch it. Since it has a nice place to nap, soon it will start tearing it all up. They are gross and ugly -- Nancy
