I need your opinions on this. I did case the stationary box from this blog. It was really easy and took about an hour just to make the box. It's not the fancy paper, yet, that's why I don't have a picture for you. I didn't make any cards or tags either. There are other examples at SCS.

There's a spot for cards and envelopes, love notes (3.5" cards), tags, stamps, and an address book .

Would this make a good teacher gift? Also, I showed a mom this at Curves and she thought I could sell them for $20.00.

I think they are really cute. Thanks for your help.

The...in the middle of the link is causing an error. Generally it works better to use the world link in the icon group above your message. I will be back later to look.

I have done these for gifts since moving and everyone who owns one loves them..instead of using tags in the one pocket though I did put postage stamps..fits a pack of 6 uk stamps perfectly !

This is a great project....as a retired teacher, I'd say it would be a wonderful gift for a teacher!
I may have to check this out for my own gift-giving needs!!!

I don't see any reason why someone (anyone) wouldn't love this gift. And I'm sure you could sell them easily for $20 although I might be tempted to up that to at least $25 if you're including the postage stamps!!!!! Great instructions to follow too!

That would be a great gift (almost couldn't believe just how much stuff was included in there).

I've been really busy with these boxes. I am finally done and the results are in the gallery. They turned out really good and the girls say that their teachers are going to love them. Because they were personalized for the teacher, the project took all day!

This is what I'm intending to give as Christmas gift this year. I've made about 8 regular cards and 4 3X3 cards in each box and put a perpetual calendar to put birthday instead of the tags. I would not sell it for less then 20$ It takes me about 3 to 4 hours to make one... includings the cards and everything!

This is a very time consuming gift and $25 is not expensive. I made one and now don't want to give it away, guess I need to make another one. The second one will come easy. - Nancy
