There is an ornament exchange this year at my work's holiday luncheon this year, and I can't decide if I should bother making one or not. I know I would much rather receive a hand-made item, bt I am just not so sure other people are like me. So what would you do, buy one or make one?

I would buy one, but that's only because of my own insecurities!!!

If you know that some of the people are into crafts, I would try to make one; otherwise, Pier 1 has some really cute ones.

Some of my coworkers are definitely into crafts, but they are probably in the minority. I think I will go buy one. Thanks!

P.S. Mary: But, of course, if you feel like making one, my address is in my profile. LOL I also love receiving handmade items.

O-o I too love handmade ornaments and I am sure you know my address LOL!

As for your work exchange...you never truly know what is going to be the right thing..so I give something I would like to recieve. Do what makes you feel good to give.

I loved Jan & Joanne's answers! LoL I *love* handmade too. (hint)
I've got a coworker who has given me a handmade ornament every year for the last 21 years and they are some of my favorites.

if it was me..and it has been before..I'd give a handmade ornie, gift packaged with a few pieces of candy. I'm sure whatever you do will be lovely
