What a beautiful morning here in WNC

It is snowing to "beat the band"-big lovely flakes!
It started a little before 5 this am. It is so fresh and pretty!
I love, love the snow!

We got a little here in Maine last night. I agree Paula, it is beautiful! DS and I were out last night with the cameras and tripods photographing [or trying to at least :)] the lights in the neighborhood.

We got another dusting last night. My MIL heard somewhere (the voices in her head?) that we were supposed to get 4". I sure could have used a day off school!

Are you near Spruce Pine? We're going there on Wednesday to get our tree. I'm hoping to see some snow on the ground up there. Enjoy the flakes!

I'm glad you enjoy the snow. Around here (western wash.) everything shuts down when it snows because we don't know how to deal with it. I lived in eastern wash. for about 7 years, so I know how to drive in it, but my city only has like 2 sand trucks and a lot of road to deal with. I like to go visit snow once in awhile and just deal with the rain at home.

I love it -it is about 11 still coming down but not sticking well. The trees are covered and the mountains around us are pretty!

I am trying to send some to Concord but it just isn't cooperating-sorry.

No Charity-I am probably farther from Spruce Pine than you- I am in the southwestern mountains- 50 miles southwest of Asheville.
Spruce Pine is probably getting snow!
Best get back to work now and see who is minding the store.

WOW!
Yesterday it was brutally cold and damp...even had some sleet.
It rained buckets all night, and today the temp. is close to 60 degrees!
It's just crazy!
