This is Ryan and Camie, your new Stamp Shack Administrators. We just celebrated our ninth wedding anniversary, have three kids together and live in sunny Arizona.

What an incredible community The Stamp Shack is! We have been absolutely impressed by the sense of friendship and support that you offer each other.

Sherry has done an incredible job creating a friendly and helpful place that has become an “online home” to Stamp Shack members. We could never duplicate Sherry’s creativity and passion, but we do believe that together, The Stamp Shack community has everything needed to continue to be the place of “inspiration and friendship found here”.

We are working closely with Sherry to learn all the details that make The Stamp Shack such a wonderful place. We appreciate your support and encourage you to continue using all the great features available at The Stamp Shack.

We are committed to The Stamp Shack community and excited to be part of your "online home".

Hello Ryan and Camie! Welcome to our family! This is a MOST unusual place -- we truly ARE family even though most of us have never met.

Did you know that we are holding our second annual Shackapaloosa in Indiana in April? I think almost 40 Shackies are going to spend a long weekend stamping and yakking away. Many of us are flying in for the event. It would be terrific if you could join us!

Hello and warm wishes as you join the friendliest stamping community on the Internet! I have been with The Stamp Shack since day 1-over 2 years now and can say that Sherry has worked very hard behind the scenes to continually support keeping the shack fresh and friendly. I am passionate about my stamping hobby and while I frequently many stamping sites but the Shack is home.

If you don't mind I would love to hear your interest in the Stamp Shack...do you stamp, craft or is website development and programing your interest? If you want to learn about stamping or have any questions no matter what time of day you will always have some shackies who will gladly speak up and give you a response as best they can...just give us a shout!

Looking forward to Chapter 2!

I am JP ( lakeslady) from the UK.
I sincerely hope you will love it here as much as we do.

How nice it is to have somewhere free of commercialisum without all the hassel of the constant advertising you find everywhere else.
Here we can be ourselves, enjoy the common bond of our hobby, make friends and share the many talents of other cardmakers.

Yes people resent change, it is normal to want everything to stay the same but you know the old addage, dont try to mend anything that is working perfectly.
Perfect it is here, and we warmly encourage you both to join the family, we all so fondly appreciate.

Sherry has done a fantastic job, and I am sure you will do the same, so jump right in and join the fun.

Hello Ryan and Camie. It's a pleasure to "meet" you. I'm Amy from southeastern Michigan. As many of the ladies have said, this is a home away from home for many of us. There have been a few shackie get-togethers and some of us are lucky enough to live close to other Shack members. We are truly a family here as you may have already noticed. I look forward to seeing the growth here at the Shack. Sherry has been an awesome administrator and filling her shoes may be a bit intimidating. But no worries, we're a pretty easy going bunch of ladies! Thank you for adopting us!

Hi Nancy, thanks for the welcome. We are just outside of Phoenix in Gilbert. We've been here about five years now and have found it to be a very family friendly place to raise our kids. We hope you are enjoying the perfect weather out here this time of year as much as we are.

it seems kind of funny to me to say welcome here since you bought the place...
so, instead i will say I hope with all my heart you don't fill it with pop up ads and all the other garbage that has happened to other stamp boards that were sold in the last few years.

Thanks for your honest feedback on the negative changes you have seen take place on other websites. We have read several other comments expressing similar concerns. The cost and time involved running a website does add up and many sites try to make up for it by bombarding people with intrusive ads. I can assure you that we hate pop-up ads as well and don't think they are appropriate for a community website like The Stamp Shack. We hope to find the right balance where The Stamp Shack can be financially healthy while still providing the features and pleasant experience you expect from your "online home".

There have been several questions about our vision for The Stamp Shack. We are pretty new to stamping, but as we spoke with Sherry and got to see this incredible community we felt strongly that this was a site we should be a part of. We believe that this is such a wonderful place because of the member participation, and as administrators we want to do all we can to assist and encourage more interaction.

We still have a lot to learn, so for starters we just want to make sure that The Stamp Shack continues to be available for you everyday. Our hands will be full for a little while as we become familiar with all the "behind the scenes" duties that keep The Stamp Shack running.

We would love to see The Stamp Shack continue to grow. It has so much to offer and may be one of the best kept stamping "secrets" online. That being said, we want your ideas to shape The Stamp Shack's growth. After all, this is your community...without The Stamp Shack members, this would just be another meaningless website in cyberspace.

Thank you for all the great welcome messages. It's comforting to know that we have your encouragement and support.

So very nice to hear that we won't be bombarded with ads and garbage here. Not sure what you are looking for as far as growth, but part of the appeal of the shack is the small size and positive slant. So many of the large sites get snarky and that's why we came here to start with. This is a flaker free, drama free zone. That's a very good thing. Our moderators do a good job of ensuring the site is positive for everyone.
