I know everyone has lots going on in their lives, but may I ask some of you to keep us in your prayers during these next few days please.
My Michael and I are making the journey to Scotland to see my son, DIL and our 4 grand daughters.
We have not been for a while due to my ill health, but this year I felt the need to go and see them all before Christmas.
The little ones are so excited to think they will be having an extra Christmas with their Nanna and Pops, and even though we have the very worst of weather here right now ( snow and temperatures below freezing) there is no way I would even think of not making this journey.
Please if you would, add us to your prayers for a safe journey and a happy visit.
I so want to see them sing their Christmas carols........they are all in the church choir. They live in a tiny fishing village with one shop, a school, a church,an inn and a small garage. The place is very community minded something you dont often find these days.
Tomorrow night we shall decorate the Christmas tree with them and on Saturday we shall celebrate with a family "holiday" dinner.
The case is in the car, along with Santas sack full of gifts for everyone.
All we need now is a tank of petrol, our toiletries and my medication and hopefully clear roads in the morning.
I hope you all stay well and happy until my return, and enjoy your stamping over the weekend.
