I dislike appearing as if I am complaining....heaven knows how much I am enjoying this site!
BUT...why is there always a but????
VERY often, I get the error message I spoke of yesterday.
I cannot always get from one spot to another without this message.
I clicked on a specific post, and the error message came on, but when I went in from the forums area, I could open it.
The message starts like this....
Error 504"Gateway Timeout
Lots more after that, but this is what I get.
If I click the red arrow to remove that screen, I am off the Shack website.
I have to hit the back button to stay "here"
Don't know if you can help this, but I am signed on as a Comcast member.
Maybe because I get here through AOL is the problem.
I will try with just Comcast, and see if that helps.
For some reason, I do love my AOL!
Thanks

I think it's AOL! WHAT is up with that?
I'll have to remember to come here via Comcast....
I'm in the habit of doing the AOL thing!
LOL
I'll keep you posted if I experience anymore problems with this when NOT on AOL!

Yep, for some reason, AOL users have trouble with vBulletin websites, not just this one. This problem is a direct result of how AOL handles their clients. For example, AOL randomly changes the host between requests resulting in the session being destroyed. Unfortunately there is nothing that I can do or fix on my end that will enable you to log on properly.

The following suggestions have been issued by the developers of the vbulletin software.

Always click on the "Remember Me" box when logging in
If you can, try an alternate browser such as IE or Mozilla FirefoxI hope this helps you out.
