I've found Gamsol at
www.inkyantics.com (http://www.inkyantics.com)
The stumps too, but I've seen them in the art department of AC Moore's too.

Gamsol is a brand name....you can buy odorless mineral spirits at most art supply/craft stores... Just make sure you get the odorless kind.

You can get a 16oz can of Gamsol HERE (http://www.dickblick.com/products/gamblin-gamsol-odorless-mineral-spirits/)

It is the cheapest I have found!! They have great prices on Prismacolor pencils too.

HTH!!

When I first started I bought a small bottle from inkyantics, but now I use the plain old ordorless mineral spirits from Wally World now, comes in a 32 oz bottle for 3.49 and the first bottle I purchased was 2 oz for 5.99. I just refill that same sponge bottle over and over now. I get the blending stumps at Hobby Lobby, most any place with art supplies will have them.

I buy Gamsol from Inky Antics at the Conventions usually and stumps. I buy just OMS at Lowes by the pint- Crown is the brand and it is not very expensive. The good stumps are harder to come by- I usually get those from Inky Antics too but I will have to check out GinaK.

I also buy from Inky Antics, but I have seen the stumps in the art area of Michaels

Thanks for welcome!! My question is that I have odorless solvent - is that the same as odorless spirits?? would you know. Also the Prisma pencils I bought I am not sure are the wax ones - doesn't say that on the pencil - just has prismacolor written on it as well as the color name and code - would you know that??

I saw OMS (Odorless Mineral Spirits) at Wal mart the other day. It's the same thing.

It's in the paint section.

What is Gamasol?? Is it for Polychromo pencil`s ? In germany we use babyoel. It is not dangerous for the health .

If your colored pencils say Prismacolor brand, they are the correct ones. The spirits you have may or may not be what you need. Depends on the ingredients.

Some have used baby oil but that does leave a greasy/oily residue in the paper. OMS evaporates completely and does not leave any greasy/oily residue.
