My new expedit (storage cabinet with 9 big pull out baskets)arrived at 1.30 today. Before it arrived I had a BIG tidy out of the desk that I was chucking out (2 hours), then when it arrived I was all organised to fill the baskets, even made a plan! Well, I filled that, and had all this left over "stuff", so I thought I better clean out the double door robe to make some space. That led to purging all my fabrics and sorting my yarns and knitting needles, then of course all the dress-up clothes needed sorting, and I still had "stuff" with no home. Boy that was a lot of work. I think I threw out 5 bags of rubbish and 4 bags for the op-shop. 8 hours later I am a tired but happy camper!
I have my stuff all beautifully sorted, and I am promising hubby that I will leave the top of the cabinet empty when I finish in here...I hope that's a resolution I can keep!

Wow what a chore you caused yourself but I'll bet it all looks great. Now go to the beach and relax under that warm sun.

Sounds like lots of work but a good feeling in the end!
We all have too much stuff -I know I do. It is hard to let go but I am working on that.

Yes -I believe that flat surface is asking for something altho it would make a great surface to display finished projects or something but I would have to junk it up with something. It is awesome! Make a good surface for the paper cutter and big shot etc..

I am soooo jealous. I'm working on weeding and sorting this week. I used to think when I stopped working I would have time for everything, but I don't!!! How long does the day need to be???? Stamping, knitting, sewing, quilting, reading....Sometimes I think I need a warehouse!!!

Wow! Love your storage. Baskets are a favorite of mine. Jacob and I have been decluttering/purging/reorganizing our art/tv room this past week. We have a big mess still, but we are making progress. I wish I was all done and nicely organized like you are already...hopefully, before the weekend is up, we'll be done too! Yours looks fabulous!
