not exactly a recipe, but a tip. Last night on Wheel of Fortune, she told "the world" that it's much easier to peel a banana from the bottom end, instead of the top. Did anyone else hear that??? :wideeyed:

Yep! Just a couple weeks ago, my 17 year old son showed me a youtube video that showed the "easier" way to peel a 'nana and we've been doing it that way ever since!

Funny story about this - yesterday I peeled one like that for my other son, but had pinched down just a little too far on the banana so that when the peel came apart, so did the end of the banana. My 7 year old daughter goes "look, there's a banana split!" It was so funny!

Here's the video we saw:

try holding a banana by each end with the curve toward you. then snap it in half by bending it away from you quickly. it's the coolest thing ever!

yea, I had a client peel one that way and explain the monkey thing to me. It was pretty funny actually...we were in a TENSE moment of DEBATE (she and her ex) and she stopped to peel the banana..it was amusing enough that it broke the tension. (I knew it was a good idea to feed my clients...)

Yeah I also heard about monkeys peeling them that way. It gets rid of all the "threads" on them. Call me old fashioned (stubborn?) I still do the "stupid human way".
