Wow, I just got a call from one of the department heads at the gym that I go to. She asked me if I would make birthday invitations for her son's birthday party. The theme is going to be Spiderman. I would really like to come up with something unique as this could present more and more orders. Any and all suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.:idea::idea:

Cindi, I'm excited and a little nervous. I doubt there's a Spiderman stamp out there or a digital image but I'm checking.

Check out this gal's blog. She does amazing things with punches. I couldn't find a Spiderman or Super Hero, but maybe this page will give you some ideas to start with http://blinkthinkink.blogspot.com/search/label/Punch%20Folk

Congratulations on your new side job!

if you can find spiderman napkins, you could do the napkin technique on the front of them

I don't think I have seen any spiderman images but there is cookie monster and all those sesame street characters now. Could you just google spiderman images and see what comes up?

I'm picturing a red card with a black embossed spider web stamped on the front. Then you could digitally print out the words to put over that.

What an opportunity. I'm not sure what you have in mind, but I immediately thought about some sort of explosion card, maybe with the cape or something. I can't wait to see what you make.

Well unfortunately Mandi saw me at the gym today and told me that she went out this morning and found the entire "ensemble" of Spiderman birthday-ware including the invitations, which were 8 for $1 so she couldn't pass it up. I told you that was a great buy because there was no way I could have matched that price. :(

So I just want to tell everyone thanks; and I appreciate all your help.
