Here is my take on a fabric pic using the BigShot and 2 different types of dies. We used a fat quarter (easier than picking out cloth to match), the quilters in our world have made our lives easier with the invention of fat quarters! Also used a couple of pieces of that stuff (I can't think of it now), the stuff bird seed bags are made from, and a little piece of pleather. The birdseed bag fabric and the pleather give the pin a little more stamina. Also punched out a good size circle to cover the glue from hot gluing the pin back. You know in cross stitching, the back has to be as neat as the front. :cute: I used the #2 scallop circle die and the SU flower folds die.

I know I can't post in the gallery so here it is.

Very cool, it is really pretty. I haven't tried to make my own like this yet, but I did get one in a swap awhile back. They are really fun!

This is wonderful, Michelle. The fabric you used that you can't think of the name is tulle I think. Did you use a button in the middle or a brad?

Thank you ladies. THese little pins are quite fun to make, doesn't take too much time, and I think it would be a great craft fair idea. Fabric pins are selling at some cute boutiques for about $20, $30 & $40 a piece!

Thanks Tami. Tulle, that's the name. See Sherri, menopause takes away part of brain cells. And we used a button but brads can also be used.
