anyone ever dealt with fiskars (besides the obvious, tami!) before? i submitted a warranty request last week and haven't heard a word. it said someone would reply within 4-6 days (which i thought was totally random) and it's been that. just curious.

I would contact them again. I had a warranty issue a few years ago and they got back to me the same day. They were great to deal with.

I also thought they were great to deal with. I had a punch that didn't work so well and they got back to me the next day and sent me a new one within 2 weeks. So I say try again - good luck

Funny you mention this---I have a punch that fell apart and I think it's Fiskars. I think I'll contact them. How did you do that? phone? internet?

Me too, have contacted them 3 times in the past. They are pretty prompt and great to deal with. They stand behind their stuff.

I can tell you they don't work over the weekend, so it's probably 4-6 working days. Definitely send it again if you don't hear back soon.

I too received great service when I had issues with a paper trimmer.

Count me in the group who has had excellent customer service from Fiskars in the past. I had issues with the plastic arm on my paper cutter, and they replaced it for me.

REALLY! I can't believe that they need the receipt. Well, maybe I can, but who keeps their receipts? do I need to start doing that? What was the issue with yours? Mine didn't punch right and was really really hard to push so I just had to send them a picture of how unevenly it punched and they sent me a new one.

I used to work for a company that sold hair dryers and we asked for a receipt but we always sent a replacement even without a receipt. It's good business to stand behind your products (if they're well made).

i bought a guillitone (no idea how to spell that!) trimmer. the arm has a spot that gets caught on the metal and it wont go down any farther unless you move it...makes it difficult to cut with. i had one that lasted forever!!

Angie, check a couple of posts above. The Customer service rep from Fiskars has offered to help you. As she was a brand new member her post was waiting to be moderated, so you wouldn't have seen it. Hope you get the great service that Fiskars seem to be famous for.
