I have just received an order of the Copics refills.
I have the tweezers to remove the nib, but cannot remember how many drops of the refill to put into the barrel of the markers.
Does anyone remember how many drops to put in?

I never take the nibs out and depending on how "empty" your marker is, the number of drops will vary. On a whitish tip, I usually add 15-20 drops directly from the bottle or add drops until it doesn't soak into the nib anymore. I also take both lids off during this process so the pressure inside is neutralized. Here's the info from copic though:

I fill mine the same way Kerry does. I used to use the injector needle but found I always overfilled it when I did it that way. Now I take both caps off at the same time and fill until the brush end is very moist. Not dippy but moist. Then I cap them again and let them sit over night before I use them after filling. I have found I don't get drippy markers if I wait, otherwise if I color right after filling sometimes they drip unexpectedly, which I hate.

So do you put the ink directly on one of the nibs instead of taking them out????

Yes, just drip, drip, drip on the nib in the pen... The nib just sucks it up like a straw and you'll know when it is done because there is no "sucking" anymore the nib just gets shiny and wet. I always drip it onto the brush end but it doesn't really matter.
