Of course, I am older than her so this is why I can get away with it. haha
After all, I know 40 isn't old but hey, i gotta make her laugh right?

These are some of the funny ones I have found so far and I am still searching:

Forty isn't the end of the world ... but you can see it from there! 40 is the age of discovery ... you discover you're old!

Remember when you were little and you thought 40 was so old? You were right!

Its your birthday and anything you want to do is okay by me ... I've heard how cranky old people get when they don't get their way!

Forty is the age of discovery ... you discover you're old!

When you turn 40, a whole new thing happens ... you see yourself acting like your parents.

Life not only begins at forty, it begins to show!

Birthday rules: Stay cute. Wish big. Never let anyone count your candles.

Don't think of yourself as getting older .. You are, of course, but its best not to think about it.

The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age (Lucille Ball).

I like this one
" the older you get the more you need to accessorize- or is that exercise? "

TFS. I like to print things like that out and then put them with corresponding stamp sets for future reference.

The front said something like "Congratulations! You have now been declared a National Treasure" On the inside it said: "Unfortunately, no funds have been allocated for your upkeep". Maybe this is only funny in the Washington DC area -- but I thought it was a hoot!
