Please give me your opinion about prices for these projects http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?gallery=3&cmd=display&layout_id=1011093
Do you think I am on the low or high side?

Hi Mary,
I check out the items. I think the prices are good..the only thing I would do would be to knock them down a penny...make then $4.99 and $6.49 or even $6.99.

Hope this helps,
Julie

People think they're getting a better price when they see $4.99 instead of $5.00...funny, huh?

The moose frame is way cool. I would pay $6.50 for it. The journals are really cute, too. A nice journal costs more than $5 so your price seems pretty fair. HTH

Hi Mary,

I think your prices are good. $6.50 for the frame seems good to me. And as for your journals, I think $5.00 is slightly low. These are beautiful and I've seen a lot that that sell for that much just plain. I think your journals should be at least $6.00.

As for pricing a penny under the rounded dollar, that is fine, but at a craft fair do you really want to spend all of that time making change and keeping pennies? Personally I would stick with round numbers.

These are great items and I'll be eager to hear how your fairs go! I sure would shop at your table!:)

I agree with the price on the frame. I sell my covered comp notebooks for $8.00. But thats because I sell my jr. legal pads for 5.00, which is because I sell my covered post its for 3.00.
Your items are very nicely done. Good luck.

Thanks for all your opinions! I think I'm going to stick to $6.50 on the frames and go $6 on the journals. This also makes me think I need to sell my gloves with knitted cuffs for $10 this year. I've done $7.50 in the past, but they take way more time to make than any of this paper stuff!

I think your prices are good. I'd pay $6.50 and $5 for your things and also $10 for a pair of gloves with the knitted cuffs. I've been tossing around what price I should charge for my pickled beets, whether 2.50, 2.75 or $3. I had to buy the beets so I've been thinking about $3 a pint. The people who grow their own beets & can them charge 2.50 or 2.75 a pint. What would you all pay?

I'm going to charge $5 for my altered notebooks and also my cans that I dress up.

Have fun at your craft show, Mary. :D

Michelle, I'd pay $3 for a pint of pickled beets! I love those and only get to eat them from salad bars...lol

Don't take any less than $3.00 for your pickled beets! We were just at a community harvest farmer's market and the canned goods and baked goods as well as the meet was really expensive (I thought) and I would imagine that pickled beets in a pint jar would have sold there for at least $5.00.
