OK, Girls, here is the famous Heirloom Show dip recipe! Enjoy!!!

Makes 4 cups

8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 Tablespoon brown sugar, packed
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (I used the mini chips)
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
graham crackers

Beat together cream cheese, butter and vanilla with an electric mixer on low speed. Add sugars; beat until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts; serve with graham crackers.

Hubby was glad there was some left over! He said there wouldn't have been, if he had gone with us!

I have this recipe, and I've never made it. I guess I have to now. When I make it, I'll have to bring it somewhere, cause otherwise it won't be safe with me!

okay, that does sound delicious. How thick is it? could I serve it with pieces of fruit? Are Graham crackers sweet or savoury biscuits?

yes, sarah you could dip apples or other hard fruits into it, Tracey & I had some spread on banana bread too.yum!
graham crackers are slightly sweet brown crackers, here we make graham cracker crust with the also for pies, you must have them, I'll just bet they are called something different where you are.

Wow, Sarah!
I never realize when we have things to eat that you don't! (Probably vice versa, too!)
I don't know how to describe graham crackers.....
Anyone out there have a good description?
We don't have a box right now, so can't even read the label to describe them!
They are yummy, tho'!
