My SIL makes them, they call it Hashbrow Cassrole...
It's SO Yummy - I like my topping burnt & crunchy!

Well you learn something new everyday, never heard of this name for a recipe. I thought it just meant-like yesterday when I put a potato in the microwave and when I took it out and cut it, black hole in the middle and then tossed it in garbage, is that a potato funeral!!!!Oh well, will try a recipe like that without the cheese. -- Penelope

Oh now, my mom makes a Hashbrown Casserole, I had no idea they were one and the same. I think we were trying to copy Cracker Barrel!
