This is the first time I created a stampscapes ATC and I'm not sure if it's worthy enough to send in for the swap. I used some stamps I had in my collection so I'm not sure if they all work together. I would appreciate your honest opinion and/or advice before I continue on to make the other 8. Thanks.

We are always critical of our own work. You did an amazing job! I love the vibrant colors you have used.

I think it is great! I haven't worked with stampscapes much, so I'm no expert. I think you example is very swap-worthy.

Excellent and now don't worry if all the others don't look the same exactly. - Penelope

OMG, that looks amazing!!! LOVE those colors. When I grow up I want to be able to stamp scenes like that. I cannot do scenes no matter how I try. I am pretty sure you have that skill nailed!! I am with Cindi I think we need a lesson, tell us how it is done.

Cindi, I just used a brayer and the Stampin Up stampin' pad Kaleidacolor (celebration) and I just kept rolling and rolling until I got the colors I wanted without any lines on it. It really is a simple process. I realized that I could do it and I may have to order some of those Stampscape rubber stamps. I just used a few of the stamps I had on hand and I kinda think it all worked.

Thanks girls for all your encouragement and input.

so do you ink the background first, then stamp the images?

yes, create the bg, then create your scene. If I had the right tool, I would have put some brown on the rocks.

I added brown to my rocks with a water color pencil

They look great to me, I would be very happy to receive one, but believe it or not, I am not sure if I am in this swap or not.
