We're under a flash flood warning until Tuesday. We haven't had a chance to repair the roof. We just got the tree off the house. Yesterday I took a 30 gal trash bag full of wet paper and embellishments to the dump...And another of shoes and coats that couldn't be washed...I don't need, want, or require more rain....

I'd send you a GIANT, house size umbrella if I could. Maybe a TOWN SIZED umbrella would be better......

That is just not fair! Hope the weatherman is wrong on the forecast!
PS - sandie was asking about you if you get a minute. I told her you were in clean up mode but otherwise safe.

Oh Lori---I wish I could do something to help you. I think we need an ARK--a Stamp Shack Ark!!!

Heather-I did get in touch with Sandie. Had an Oldzheimers moment and could remember the password to my email.

An ark would be nice Patty, or that giant umbrella Suzi!

Jeeeeze! You need a break Lori! DS just got back from Bratt and he said they are worried about the Townsend dam letting go now. That's just scary. I'll be thinking of you!!

We got a small eathen damn here that everyone is worried about. Townsend Damn will hold, they need to release water though. There another damn, north of Townsend, that is also having problems. No one was worried about the beaver damn that busted and flooded us out last week! So I guess you never know!

Thinking of you Lori, just wish I could help.

Would you like me to send you some embellishments? I could help out that way, as you said lots of yours got wet.

The river in the next town over is at flood stage again. Our brook is right up there, but not over spilling the banks. Scanner has chattered all night about washouts on the roads. Going to be tricky to get to a hospital again....

But on a happy note...Our kids are going to get to start school today!

Somehow the expression "it doesn't rain, but it pours" fits here, but with too much irony! Sorry to hear that!
